Quilting for You

I am a new owner of the HQ 18 Avante and the Pro-Stitcher, purchasing it from Bobbie with Quilting for You. Bobbie was very informative during my purchase, setting it up in my home and has been helpful since.  She is prompt in getting back to me when I have questions or run into problems and is an excellent trainer.  Since my purchase I have taken her beginner class which is a hands on class and we worked on designs using  using free motion quilting.

Having a long arm has made quilting even more enjoyable, has saved me time and I think has added more value to my quilts.  No more layering on tables and the floor and attempting free motion or stitching in the ditch with my sewing machine.

I took two beginning classes from Bobbie. WOW! She packed a lot of information into a short amount of time. Some of the techniques she should us have saved me a lot of time and frustration. I would definitely recommend taking her classes. The classes were Great! Pam G.-Jamestown, ND

I bought my Avante from Bobbie and she has always answered all of my questions and has solved my problems.  She has been very helpful.   The classes she teaches are very informative.    Thanks Bobbie for all that you you do for me. Judy S.-Bismarck, ND

Thank you Bobbie for a wonderful afternoon of sharing, education, and fun.  You a great instructor and I look forward to taking more classes in your studio.  Thanks again, Linda R.-Killdeer, ND

I think your customer service is the best I have EVER had in my life in ANY area! You are always willing to help whenever I call. I attend one of your quilt retreats. That was great-gave me lots of useful information. Also attended your quilt classes at your shop. They were great also!   J.S.  Jamestown, ND

I had a mid-arm machine where I could only quilt 3-4 inches at a time.  I decided I wanted to quilt for others when my "needs quilting pile" was gone.  I visited Bobbie at her shop in Washburn and was instantly hooked on the Handi Quilter!  I could not afford a new Handi Quilter, but, with her wide customer base, Bobbie was able to hook me up with a used one. Bobbie has been instrumental in my success, even though I did not buy the machine from her and she made no commission.  She has travelled all the way to Jamestown, spent her entire day with me, educating me and increasing my confidence.  I am now making quilts from scratch and quilting tops for customers.  Bobbie's professionalism, willingness to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for the art are worth more than any fee she could charge.  E.W. Bobbie has been an inspiration to both Mom (Jan) and I over the past couple of years.  We have always dreamed of one day owning a long arm quilting machine but never thought it would come true. I took my first class from Bobbie almost 2 years ago and couldn't believe all she taught me in just a few hours.  I went home to South Dakota and told Mom how she just had to come see Bobbie and take a class from her.  This summer Mom and Bobbi got together and it was a wonderful bonding experience for all.  I have not seen such a big smile on Mom’s face in a long time, she truly enjoyed her time with Bobbie and learned so much.  Bobbie has helped us every step of the way from finding us a used machine we could afford to working out the kinks of being first time long arm owner.  We have developed a very close relationship with Bobbie since we began and I would not go anywhere else for a machine or any of our supplies. She is a joy to work with and always has time for her clients.
